Chatsworth Duo Scores Tennis Upset

Sung Rhee and Erik Solter of Chatsworth High upset fifth-seeded Jeff Schiamberg and Eric Clark of University, 6-4, 1-6, 6-2, Tuesday in the first round of the City Section tennis championships at The Racquet Center in Studio City.
The Rhee-Solter victory was the only major upset in an uneventful first round of doubles.
Top-seeded Natt Narthong and David Kaiden of North Hollywood and second-seeded Rajeev Datt and Justin Sherring of Chatsworth won their first-round matches in straight sets.
The top eight seeded singles players advanced, including fourth-seeded Mark Sundahl and sixth-seeded Tom Bensky of Monroe. Sundahl defeated David Schwartz of Kennedy, 6-3, 6-1, and Bensky defeated Cal Jeffries of Business Magnet, 6-1, 6-0.
