Flag Day Banner Bears Stars From All 50 States

PITTSBURGH — An American flag bearing stars given to the National Flag Foundation by each of the nation’s 50 governors was raised at dawn Tuesday at Flag Plaza near the city’s Civic Arena to celebrate Flag Day. Each governor sent a white cloth star to the foundation for the 10- by 19-foot flag.
