A Hermosa Beach man, who returned home and was confronted by two men demanding the keys to his Porsche, handed over the keys and then fatally shot one of the robbers from his balcony as the car was being backed out of the driveway, police said.
The second robber exchanged gunshots with the robbery victim before fleeing on foot, Hermosa Beach Police Cmdr. Michael Lavin said.
Neither the Porsche owner nor the robber killed in the Monday night incident were identified.
