Veteran TV actress Diana Muldaur has beamed aboard the Starship Enterprise as Dr. Katherine (Kate) Pulaski, the new ship’s doctor on “Star Trek: The Next Generation,” the syndicated sci-fi series now filming its second year of episodes. “Trek” fans will remember Muldaur from previous turns in the original “Star Trek” series in the ‘60s--often as Capt. James Kirk’s love interest. The date of the season premiere of “Star Trek: The New Generation” is still up in the air.
