May I grouch? A piddling grouch, perhaps, but I fear if we are not careful we will begin to look like and then become New York City.
On more than one occasion recently I have seen or ridden on L.A. city buses that had graffiti on the windows. Bad enough that it was on the sides and backs. But--on the windows? So no one could see out?
Isn’t there someone over at the transit garage with a rag and some solvent to give the windows the merest clean-off?
This is small stuff, I realize, but every time I go to New York I come back thinking, please, not for L.A. Not for our nice city!
