Seattle Seahawks cornerback Terry Taylor won a federal court order temporarily rescinding his 30-day suspension by the National Football League after he failed a drug test.
U.S. District Judge Carolyn Dimmick issued the temporary restraining order in Seattle, saying she had serious questions about the validity of the testing procedure.
The order is in effect until NFL Commissioner Pete Rozelle decides whether he will grant Taylor’s appeal of the suspension, imposed Aug. 31.
The restraining order means Taylor can play in Sunday’s game in San Diego against the Chargers.
