I was quite upset with Isobel Silden’s reference that Dinah Shore was the only female “celebrity” having her name attached to a celebrity fund-raiser.
Joan Rivers has been actively involved with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation for eight years and for the past three years she has hosted the Joan Rivers Love Match celebrity tennis classic and black-tie ball, which will be held Nov. 11-12.
Last year the event netted $182,000 for cystic fibrosis patient care and research here in the Greater Los Angeles area.
