SEOUL — Florence Griffith Joyner, who denied in a news conference Saturday that she had injured her leg, conceded Sunday that she had been a little sore.
She said her husband, Al, inadvertently drove a baggage cart into her heel at Kimpo Airport Thursday night.
“It tore the skin off and it hurt a lot at the time,” Griffth Joyner said. “But it’s OK now.”
She worked out at the Athletes Village practice track Sunday and had no problems.
