Local News in Brief : Orange : Panelists to Discuss Issues of Health Care

“The Ethics and Economics of Health Care Rationing,” the first in a series of programs sponsored in the 1988-89 season by California Health Care Decisions, will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday at Loyola-Marymount Orange Campus, 480 S. Batavia St., Orange.
Panelists will include county Supervisor Gaddi H. Vasquez, state Sen. Diane Watson (D-Los Angeles) and John Rodriguez, deputy director of Medical Care Services.
They will discuss whether health care is a right and how to spend limited health-care money.
California Health Care Decisions is a private, nonprofit organization dedicated to involving the public in addressing ethical, legal and financial issues of health care.
The public is invited. There is no fee. Reservations are suggested and may be made by calling (714) 647-4920.
