Morrison & Foerster, a 400-lawyer law firm with offices throughout California, will be the anchor tenant in the $140-million Brinderson Towers II at MacArthur and Jamboree boulevards in Irvine. The firm signed a 10-year, $17-million lease for more than two floors of the building, which when completed in 1990 will be identical to an existing 15-story building built by Brinderson Ltd. of Irvine not far from John Wayne Airport. . . . Newport Beach developer Worthing Cos. has started construction on two apartment complexes, one in San Diego and the other in Santa Cruz, with joint partner Travelers Insurance Cos. . . . Marriott Corp.’s Residence Inns subsidiary is building a 112-unit residential hotel at the Irvine Co.’s Spectrum business center in Irvine, the first hotel at the 2,600-acre business park.
