Local News in Brief : Westminster : Forum Scheduled for City Council Candidates

The Greater Westminster Chamber of Commerce will sponsor a City Council candidates’ forum at 7 p.m. Thursday in the Community Center, 8200 Westminister Blvd.
Nine candidates are seeking four seats, including mayor. The challengers are Paul Perea, Margie Rice, Virgil Nickell and Lyn Gillespie. Mayor Charles V. Smith is being challenged by Councilwoman Anita Huseth and council incumbents seeking reelection are Joy L. Neugebauer, Frank Fry Jr. and Allen A. Pace.
