Sophomore Ruth Aguilar scored a game-high 17 points and Tisa Rush added 15 to lead host Valley College to a season-opening, 97-28 victory Saturday night over San Bernardino Valley College.
Aguilar also pulled down 6 rebounds and Leticia Carranza had a game-high 8 assists for the Lady Monarchs.
