KPBS-FM (89.5) raised $90,100 in eight days during its fall pledge drive Oct. 29 to Nov. 5. About 1,360 listeners called to pledge donations to the 24-hour, non-commercial radio station that broadcasts classical music, news and features from the campus of San Diego State University. KPBS’ 1987 fall drive brought in $85,685, which was $25,000 less than the amount pledged.
