Ventura Recruiting Football Assistants
Assistant football coaches are needed at Ventura High. The school needs people with a football background who are available between 3 and 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday and Friday’s evenings.
“It’s a minimum pay, high-level-of-frustration type of job, but some personal gratification,” Ventura Coach Harvey Kochel said.
Phil McCune, defensive coordinator, will not return next season because he wants to see his son, Matt, play his final season at Cal. Two other assistants are also expected to leave.
