Southern Section Soccer Playoffs : St. Francis Win Streak at 17 After 4-1 Victory Over Lynwood

Bobby Guerrero scored two first-half goals to lead St. Francis to a 4-1 win over Lynwood in a first-round 3-A Division playoff match Thursday at St. Francis.
Peter Morales and Darko Dragicivic also scored for Del Rey League champion St. Francis (17-1), which extended its school-record win streak to 17.
St. Francis, ranked No. 4 in the 3-A, will play Buena in the second round on Tuesday. Buena defeated Burbank, 3-2, in the first-round.
BOYS’ 1-A DIVISION
Agoura 6, South Pasadena 0--Matt Freedman had three goals and an assist to lead the Chargers in a first-round game at Agoura. Tim Ward recorded a goal and two assists.
Calabasas 1, El Segundo 0--Brian Smalaiz scored with two minutes remaining to give Calabasas, the third-place team from the Frontier League, a first-round win.
GIRLS’ 4-A DIVISION
Royal 4, Rolling Hills 1--Tania Schraml scored three goals and Stevie Campbell added another as Royal extended its undefeated streak to 20 in a row in the first-round match at Royal.
GIRLS’ 2-A DIVISION
Alemany 2, Canyon 0--Junior fullback Jenny Hart and junior forward Angela Forstrom each scored for Alemany (16-6-2). Goalkeeper Cami Tubbs recorded her 12th shutout.
Quartz Hill 3, Chaminade 2--Justin Hempe scored her second goal midway through the second half to cap a comeback win at Quartz Hill.
