Joe Mathewson, president of Protek Environmental, has been named to the additional post of president of the parent company, Enviroguard Inc., based in Houston. He succeeds Robert Pyle, who left the company. Mathewson will remain based in Protek’s Huntington Beach headquarters. Mathewson co-founded Enviroguard in 1984 and Protek in 1987. Protek is an environmental engineering contractor offering technology for on-site treatment and decontamination of hazardous sludges, soils and ground water.
