THE COMMUNITY COLLEGES : Fullerton, Golden West Women Open Regionals

Fullerton and Golden West colleges, both trying for berths in the state tournament, play tonight in Southern California regional women’s community college basketball finals.
Fullerton, the top-seeded team in its region, takes on Long Beach (18-9) at 7:30 tonight at Fullerton. Fullerton (25-1) defeated Antelope Valley, 94-58, in the first round Wednesday. It was the Hornets’ 15th consecutive victory.
Golden West (13-16) plays host to Santa Barbara (18-11) at 5:30 p.m. Golden West defeated El Camino, 110-83. The winners advance to the state tournament March 2-4, at Los Angeles Valley College.
