Hart to Meet Buena in Girls’ 5-A Semifinal

Hart High will play Buena in the semifinals of the Southern Section 5-A Division girls’ basketball playoffs at 7:30 tonight at Ventura College.
Hart (23-2), the second-seeded team, is led by 6-foot-3 center Sara Wilson, who scored 26 points in the Indians’ 76-70 quarterfinal victory over West Covina on Thursday. Third-seeded Buena (22-3) defeated Thousand Oaks, 59-50, in another quarterfinal.
In a 2-A Division semifinal, La Reina (20-5) will play Santa Clara at Moorpark College at 7:30. La Reina defeated Twentynine Palms, 61-50, in the quarterfinals.
