Commercial Scene : Nissan to Build Race Cars in Vista Buildings

Nissan Motor Corp. has purchased two industrial buildings in the San Diego County community of Vista for $2.75 million and will use the space to build race cars.
The auto maker bought the two buildings, at 2652 La Mirada Drive and 2480 Coral St., from Oak Ridge Associates. It plans to move into the buildings, with a total of 46,000 square feet, by the end of June.
The North San Diego office of Grubb & Ellis Commercial Real Estate Services represented Nissan. The Carlsbad office of Iliff Thorn represented Oak Ridge.
