MCA chieftain Lew Wasserman and his wife, Edie, have completed a $5-million pledge to the Motion Picture and Television Fund’s $50-million Capital Campaign. The campaign was started in 1985 with the goal of doubling the capacity of the industry’s health care/retirement facilities in Woodland Hills. To date, nearly $35 million has been raised. The Wassermans also previously established a $1 million endowment for perpetual care of the grounds of the Woodland Hills campus.
