Auralia R. Brooks has resigned as director of the California Afro-American Museum and will become chief operating officer of the museum’s foundation on June 1. Bridget Cullerton, formerly director of education, will serve as the museum’s interim director. History curator Lonnie G. Bunch III also has resigned to join the National Museum of American History.
