LOCAL : 2 Held in Incinerated Girl’s Death

A woman and her live-in boyfriend were under arrest today in the death of her 8-year-old daughter, whose body was set on fire at a San Pedro park last week.
The victim, Alba Susanna Flores, had been sexually abused and died of multiple injuries before she was set on fire and her body dumped at Alma Park in San Pedro Thursday morning, a spokesman for Los Angeles County Coroner’s office said.
Her mother, Mativi Dad Flores, 26, and the woman’s live-in boyfriend, Alejandro Lara, 29, were arrested Friday and booked on suspicion of murder, Lt. Fred Nixon said.
