The 70-minute “Family Ties” farewell episode Sunday night on NBC trashed the 60-minute “Moonlighting” finale on ABC in the overnight Nielsen ratings. Figures available Monday showed that “Ties” averaged about a 35 share of the audience, while “Moonlighting” was picking up a 10 share. “Murder, She Wrote” on CBS attracted a 25 share. The national Nielsen rankings will be out today.
