Man on First Jump Killed as Parachute Fails to Open

EAST MORICHES, N.Y. — A man making his first sky dive died after he jumped in the wrong position and his parachute failed to open, an instructor said.
Jack Reilly, 28, of Bellmore was fatally injured Saturday at Spadero Airport. He and 18 others had just completed a sky-diving class.
