McDermott International Inc.: The New Orleans-based builder of power-generation equipment, offshore platforms and pipelines reported a loss of $91.7 million for the year, compared to a loss of $261.7 million a year ago. Revenue for the fiscal year ended March 31 was $2.4 billion, compared to $2.35 billion a year ago. The company said its performance reflected losses from discontinued operations. The net loss for 1989 was reduced by $52.6 million to reflect the cumulative effect of an accounting change.
