A 21-year-old man was arrested Sunday in the June 5 slaying of another man in San Diego, police said.
Phan Dinh Nguyen of the 4700 block of Wilson Street was arrested in the death of Samsamay Aphayavong, 19, police said.
Patrolman Richard Farr arrested Nguyen some time after 11 p.m. in the 4100 block of Fairmount Avenue after the lengthy investigation, Police Sgt. Barbara Harrison said.
Aphayavong was shot once at Ulric Street and Fashion Hills Boulevard after a personal dispute between the two men, Harrison said.
