Lasorda, Sutton, Carew Honored

Dodger Manager Tommy Lasorda and former Angels Don Sutton and Rod Carew will be inducted into the Orange County Walk of Fame at the Anaheim Hilton and Towers Thursday 11:30 a.m.
The ceremony, which will include the installation of sidewalk plaques to honor the three, is open to the public. They will be the first three professional athletes inducted into the hall, which honors leading athletes, entertainers and business figures born or living in Orange County.
Lasorda, a resident of Fullerton; Sutton, a resident of Laguna Hills and Carew, a resident of Placentia will raise the number of members of the walk to 17. Olympians Janet Evans (swimming), Greg Louganis (diving) and Steve Timmons (volleyball) are among the other members.
