Listeners of KLOS-FM’s “Mark & Brian” morning show were surprised Wednesday when all four original members of the Monkees dropped in for their first radio interview together in 22 years. Davy Jones, Micky Dolenz and Peter Tork are in town for concerts July 8 at Celebrity Theatre in Anaheim, July 9 at the Universal Amphitheater, and a Monkees convention at the Universal Sheraton. They will also be receiving a star in the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Three of the zany rockers have been reunited since 1985, and will be joined in a special performance at the amphitheater by the group’s fourth member, Michael Nesmith, who now owns a video production company in Los Angeles.
