U.S. Supreme Court Upholds Flag Burning as Protest

During all this debate about the right to desecrate the American flag has anyone thought about a flagless world, free of symbols, organized to protect and advance human existence?
Eventually all of our social experiments must culminate in such a world where politics and religion are finally quieted in favor of a rational organization to facilitate everyone’s progress in the human scheme.
Why then do we fret about flags? Because we don’t know any better, yet.
