Michael Samide was elected president of New Hampshire Ball Bearings, a leading producer of miniature bearings and a division of Chatsworth-based NMB (USA). NMB, in turn, is the main North American subsidiary of Minebea Co. Ltd. of Japan.
Samide succeeded Jerry Calvin, who resigned to pursue other interests. Samide joined the Peterborough, N.H.-based company in 1986 as vice president-treasurer and chief financial officer.
