Yes, “the right of free expression” allows Del Olmo to call Cunningham and his advisers “insensitive jerks” for creating a satirical student film. It also allows the rest of us to label Del Olmo as a knee-jerk minority-rights hypocrite whose philosophy presents a serious threat to the concepts of academic freedom and free expression itself.
