Commission vacancy: City Clerk Mary Ann Hanover said the city is seeking applicants for a vacancy on its Cultural Arts and Heritage Commission. The City Council is tentatively scheduled to fill the vacancy at its Aug. 1 meeting, Hanover said. Applications are available at City Hall, 32400 Paseo Adelanto. To be eligible, a person must be 18 or over and a registered voter who lives in the city. The seven-member commission serves as an advisory group to the City Council, Planning Commission and city staff.
