* Quidel has acquired the assets of Cytotech, a San Diego company that is developing diagnostic technology for autoimmune diseases, including lupus erythematosus and rheumatoid arthritis.
Quidel is a San Diego biotechnology company that also makes diagnostic products and which is trying to develop therapeutic products targeted for allergies, including asthma.
