‘Heroic’ Voyager, Its Human Guides

The success of Voyager, together with the success of other robots under water, make me wonder who is beating the drums for manned space flights, and why. We get so much more information for so much less tax money from robots sent into space and other inhospitable places instead of humans that I can’t help thinking somebody has his hand in my pocket--again.
