Air Canada Buys Stake in Covia: Covia, the parent company of the Apollo computer reservation system, said Air Canada has bought a 1% equity stake in Covia. Other owners are United Airlines, USAir, British Airways, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, Swissair and Alitalia. The price Air Canada paid was not disclosed. USAir, British Airways and Swissair gave up small fractions of their stakes to make the sale possible.
