Crespi Earns Consolation Title

Vince Greco scored six goals as Crespi High defeated Hoover, 8-6, for the consolation championship of the South Bay water polo tournament Saturday at El Segundo High.
Greco, who scored 18 times in the four-game tournament, added three goals in the Celts’ 7-5 win over Culver City earlier in the day. Chris Peichel had two goals against Culver City. Goalie Tim Behrens stopped 40 shots in the tournament for Crespi (11-4).
The Celts will play host to Del Rey League rival Harvard on Thursday.
