New Image Industries’ 1st-Quarter Profit Triples

New Image Industries said its fiscal first-quarter profit tripled from a year earlier, and its sales climbed 36%.
In the quarter that ended Sept. 30, New Image’s net income jumped to $229,000 from $76,000 a year earlier, and its sales rose to $2.12 million from $1.55 million.
New Image, a Canoga Park-based concern that went public in August, makes computerized imaging systems that provide before-and-after pictures to illustrate proposed landscapes, buildings and other items.
