* Amperif Corp., a Chatsworth-based manufacturer of computer storage systems, said it has appointed David Lawson to the newly created position of field sales vice president for the Western United States. Lawson, formerly district sales manager for Unisys Corp. in San Francisco, will direct Amperif’s sales and support operations from the company’s new Woodland Hills office.
