SEAL BEACH : Three-Vehicle Crash Injures I-405 Driver

A Long Beach woman was seriously injured in a three-vehicle crash Sunday on the San Diego Freeway.
Geraldine White, 49, was in serious but stable condition at Fountain Valley Regional Hospital and Medical Center after the 11:12 a.m. accident in the southbound lanes east of Seal Beach.
The accident occurred when an 18-wheel tractor-trailer truck changed lanes and collided with White’s Toyota, CHP dispatcher Janelle Clem said. The Toyota spun out of control, back into the truck and then hit a second car, Clem said.
Paramedics had to use a hydraulic prying device to extricate White from the wreckage of her car. No one else was reported injured.
The CHP is investigating the crash.
