Philippe Chatrier, president of the International Tennis Federation, said his new Grand Slam Cup will offer $6 million in prize money, including $2 million to the winner.
“Dollar language is the only one I know after 20 years in business,” Chatrier said. “And it’s also the one used by tennis players.”
