Three more local arts institutions will join the Newport Harbor Art Museum on Dec. 1 in observing “A Day Without Art: A National Day of Action and Mourning” by arts groups responding to the AIDS crisis. The Fullerton Museum Center will present GreenHouse, folk-rock group at 8 p.m. All proceeds from the $3 concert will benefit the local Red Cross. The center also will dim one of its gallery’s lights and will stage for area schoolchildren a play about AIDS by the STOP-GAP theater troupe. The Laguna Art Museum will provide literature on AIDS and a Red Cross representative will answer questions during museum hours. A 3 p.m. show by performance artist Tim Miller is scheduled for the Newport Harbor Art Museum.
