COSTA MESA : Motorcycle Safety Will Be Taught

A motorcycle safety course for beginning riders will be taught at Orange Coast College Friday through Sunday.
The 18-hour training session is sponsored by the California Highway Patrol and the Motorcycle Safety Foundation. Students will be taught on motorcycles provided by the program.
Registration is $105 for people at least 25 years old, $75 for people 18 to 24, and $55 for riders under 18.
Participants must have a driver’s license, learner’s permit or proof of completion of a driver’s education program.
After completing the course, students will be eligible for insurance rate reductions of 5% to 20%.
Students may register at the Community Service Office from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. through Friday. For more information, call (714) 432-5880.
