DECISION: Insiders say James G. Enright, chief deputy in the district attorney’s office, will decide soon on whether to run for D.A. next June against his colleague and longtime rival, Assistant Dist. Atty. Michael R. Capizzi. . . . Capizzi is the choice of D.A. Cecil Hicks, who is retiring and is expected to be appointed a Superior Court judge. . . . If the Supervisors appoint Capizzi so he could run as an incumbent, he might be unbeatable. Many consider Enright the only one in the D.A.’s office who could give Capizzi a fight for election.
