BOULDER, Colo. — Travel arrangements for the Orange Bowl-bound Colorado Buffaloes are relatively easy compared to the preparations required to get Ralphie to Miami, Colorado officials say.
Ralphie III, the 1,000-pound five-foot female buffalo mascot, travels to out-of-state games in an enlarged horse trailer.
Colorado officials are contacting alumni who might be ranchers or farmers along a route between Boulder and Miami to ask if Ralphie may stay a night with them.
