Jets Collide, Pilot Killed

FRANKFURT, West Germany — Two U.S. Air Force F-16 fighters collided during a training flight near here Monday, sending one of the jets crashing into a vegetable market and killing one pilot, officials said. The second pilot was hospitalized with serious injuries.
There were no reports of injuries on the ground.
