Children Too Young for School Last Year Can Get an Early Start
- Share via
The San Gabriel School District will offer Early Start Kindergarten during the spring semester beginning Feb. 5.
The program gives children who missed the cutoff date to start school last year an opportunity to attend school prior to enrolling for a full year in kindergarten.
The curriculum focuses on teaching skills children will need to succeed in kindergarten. Classes run from 11:45 a.m. to 3:05 p.m., and school lunches are available.
All children who turn 5 by April 1 are eligible. Classes will be held at McKinley School, 1425 Manley Drive, San Gabriel.
