In sports: In NFL playoff action, the Rams travel to the Meadowlands in New Jersey to take on the New York Giants at 9:30 a.m. today. The Giants won the NFC East with a 12-4 record, but lost to the Rams 31-10 in a game at Anaheim Stadium earlier this season. The Rams finished 11-5 in the regular season and advanced in the playoffs by beating the Philadelphia Eagles 21-7 last Sunday in the NFC Wild Card game. The winner of today’s game will advance to the NFC Championship game to play the winner of the San Francisco 49ers/Minnesota Vikings game.
