Orion Pictures Corp.: The motion picture company said third-quarter net income rose 46% from a year ago to $1.7 million. Revenue totaled $104 million, up almost 13%. The New York-based firm said the improved earnings were due in part to the emergence of basic cable networks as licensees of feature films.
