EAST BERLIN — East German hang-gliding enthusiasts, whose sport was formerly banned in case they tried to fly over the country’s heavily guarded borders, have formed a club in East Berlin. The official news agency ADN said Wednesday that the club will begin giving hang-gliding lessons in March.
