COLLEGE ROUNDUP : Bickmore Leads Southern California College

Junior center Jeff Bickmore scored 21 points to lead Southern California College to a 81-59 victory over California Baptist in a Golden State Athletic Conference men’s basketball game Tuesday at SCC.
Terry Scruggs added 15 and Mike Henjum 12 for SCC (12-7 overall, 3-2 in conference).
In nonconference men’s basketball:
Cal Lutheran 91, Christ College Irvine 84--Jeff deLaveaga scored 28 to lead visiting California Lutheran. Keith Rogers scored 30 for Christ College Irvine (10-13).
In Golden State Athletic Conference women’s basketball:
California Baptist 82, Southern California College 75--Kristin Bevis scored 29 for host Southern California College (9-8, 2-3).
In nonconference women’s basketball:
Christ College Irvine 68, California Lutheran 64--Renee Carroll scored 15 points and Genevieve Graff scored 14 to lead host Christ College Irvine (3-14). California Lutheran led by 12 with about 10 minutes left to play before Christ College Irvine rallied.
In Big West Conference women’s tennis:
Cal State Fullerton 5, UC Irvine 4--Cal State Fullerton won two of three doubles matches to clinch the match in Fullerton.
